ICC Rankings: England's Liam Livingstone becomes top-ranked T20I all-rounder
Liam Livingstone, the star England batter, has risen to the top of the T20I All-Rounder rankings. This achievement comes on the heels of his exceptional performance in the recently-concluded home series against Australia. Livingstone was named Player of the Series after demonstrating outstanding skills with both bat and ball. His new rating stands at a career-best 253, following a seven-spot leap to claim this prestigious position.
Livingstone's remarkable performance in England-Australia series
Livingstone's performance in the second of the two T20Is was particularly noteworthy, where he scored 87 runs off just 47 balls and took two wickets for 16 runs in three overs. This earned him the Player of the Match title. Despite England's defeat in the first match, Livingstone made a significant contribution with figures of 3/22 (3) and a score of 37(27).
Livingstone leads T20I all-rounder rankings
Livingstone now leads the T20I All-Rounder rankings with a comfortable 42-point lead over Australia's Marcus Stoinis, who has a rating of 211. In addition to his all-rounder success, Livingstone also made significant strides in the batting rankings by moving up 17 places to secure the 33rd position.
