Imad displaces Tahir to become the number one T20 bowler
Pakistan's Imad Wasim has become the number one T20 bowler with 780 points as per the recent rankings of the International Cricket Council (ICC). He dethroned South Africa's Imran Tahir after his bad performance against England. Indian youngster Jasprit Bumrah is second on the list with 764 points, followed by Tahir (744), Afghanistan's Rashid Khan (717) and West Indies' Samuel Badree (717).
Another Indian in top 10
Ranked 10th, Ravichandran Ashwin is the second Indian bowler in the top 10 list of T20 bowlers. Veteran Ashish Nehra is placed on 19th position, while Ravindra Jadeja is on 24th.
Virat Kohli continues to dominate the rankings
Indian skipper Virat Kohli continues to be the top ranked T20 batsman, followed by Australia's Aaron Finch and New Zealand's skipper Kane Williamson. South Africa's captain AB de Villiers has jumped 12 places to return to the top 20 rankings, whereas Jason Roy secured his career best position of 25. Lokesh Rahul(13) and Rohit Sharma(19) are other two Indians in top 20 list.
NZ top, England second
After a 2-1 win against the Proteas, the England men's cricket team has gained two points to move ahead of Pakistan and grab the second spot in the T20 team rankings. New Zealand holds the top spot. India is on the fourth position, followed by West Indies on fifth. South Africa is jointly holding the sixth position along with Australia.
Shakib Al Hasan remains top all-rounder
With 353 points, Bangladesh's Shakib Al Hasan continues to remain the top all-rounder in T20 cricket. On the second place is Australia's Glenn Maxwell, followed by Afghanistan's Mohammad Nabi.
