Indian cricket star Virat Kohli has made a comeback to the top five in the latest ICC ODI Rankings for batters.
Kohli reached the mark after his brilliant century against Pakistan in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy encounter in Dubai.
Once the world's top ODI batter, Kohli now shares the elite group with fellow Indians Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma.

Kohli now occupies the fifth spot in the ICC ODI Batting Rankings, with 743 rating points.
He starred in India's massive win over Pakistan in the Champions Trophy, scoring a brilliant ton.
During his knock, Kohli also completed 14,000 ODI runs, joining Sachin Tendulkar and Kumar Sangakkara.
Kohli became the fastest to 14,000 ODI runs (299 matches and 287 innings). The Indian batter is miles ahead of Tendulkar (350 innings) and Sangakkara (378 innings).

Gill leads ICC ODI rankings; Duckett achieves career-best
India's Shubman Gill leads the ICC ODI Batting Rankings, crossing the 800-rating mark and widening his gap over second-placed Babar Azam.
Other than Kohli and New Zealand batter Daryl Mitchell exchanging their spots, there were no other changes in the top-10 batters.
England's Ben Duckett jumped 27 spots to enter the top-20 and reached 17th place after his record-breaking century against Australia.
Bowling shifts
Afridi slips in bowling rankings; Maharaj ascends
In the ICC ODI Bowling Rankings, Pakistan's Shaheen Afridi slipped five places to number nine after ending with 2/74 against India.
His performance made him the most expensive bowler of the match.
South African spinner Keshav Maharaj moved up one place to fourth position, while Sri Lankan spinner Maheesh Theekshana remains at the top of these rankings.
