ICC releases Cricket World Cup 2019 schedule: Details here
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the schedule, timings and venues of the 2019 Cricket World Cup to be held in England. The ICC World Cup is set to have 10 teams and will be played between May 30 and July 14 next year. England will take on South Africa at the Oval in the opener. Lord's will be hosting the final on July 14.

In the ICC ODI Rankings 8 teams made the initial cut directly into the tournament. The teams are India, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, England, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh. These teams were joined by Afghanistan and West Indies which qualified from the WC Qualifiers.
Fans should start marking their calendars
Fans should start marking calendar dates for India's matches. With every team playing each other, India will play 9 games. They will open their campaign against South Africa on June 5. The mega game is against Pakistan on June 16. The two nations will be meeting each other two years after clashing in the ICC Champions Trophy final at the Oval which Pakistan had won.

The tourney structure and more
The ICC has decided on eleven world-class venues for the 46-day tournament. Each team will play the opponent in a single-league format. In the end, the top four sides will be progressing to the semi-finals. The ticket prices were also announced.
