What's the story
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced its men's and women's Players of the Month for February 2025.
Indian cricketer Shubman Gill and Australian bowler Alana King have been awarded the prestigious honors.
Gill's brilliant performances in India's ODI series against England, along with a crucial century in the 2025 Champions Trophy match against Bangladesh, won him the award.
Meanwhile, King's brilliant bowling in Australia's Ashes Test match win over England earned her the honor.

Gill's third ICC Men's player-of-the-month honor came after he outperformed New Zealand's Glenn Phillips and Australia's Steve Smith.
The 25-year-old cricketer accumulated a staggering 406 runs in February, averaging over 100.
His sensational run started with three successful ODI matches against England, where he scored 87 and 60 before smashing a brilliant century in Ahmedabad.
Gill was also in sublime form during India's victorious Champions Trophy campaign.

She was later adjudged the Player of the Series, scoring 37 runs and taking 23 wickets.
