Fortnite: Here's how to thank the bus driver on mobile
Fortnite, by Epic Games, keeps interest in its Battle Royale alive by continuously adding new content. To celebrate the holiday season, the studio had started a new event titled '14 days of Fortnite', where players are rewarded for completing various tasks. One of these tasks is to thank the bus driver. Find out how to do this on a mobile.
Thanking the driver is a feature Fortnite introduced long ago
Fortnite had introduced some changes to the Battle Bus, the vehicle that carries players over the map, allowing them to jump at preferred locations. As we reported, it had increased the speed of the bus by 25% while also including a feature that would allow gamers to thank the driver. It was a well-thought gesture by Epic, encouraging a sense of gratitude among gamers.
Thanking the driver as part of the Fortnite event
One of the tasks in the holiday limited time event was to thank the driver in a Battle Royale match. Gamers across all platforms, PC, Xbox, PS4 and PC had to do it. Since the feature to thank the driver varies across platforms, it is important to know how to do it on the mobile platform, considering the console and PC versions are simpler.
PC and console gamers can easily thank the driver
Console gamers can thank the bus driver by pressing down on the D-Pad on the controllers. For PC gamers, who use a keyboard and mouse combination, the process is different but just as easy. All they have to do is press the B key.
How mobile gamers can thank the driver
For mobile gamers, thanking the driver is a slightly more complicated process since they do not have the same key bindings as a controller or keyboard. Thus gamers have to find the emote icon on the right side of the screen and thank the driver before jumping or being kicked out of the Battle Bus. Notably, the process is same for Android and iOS.
