Kohli dominated the batting charts as he smashed a whopping 741 runs at 61.75. His strike-rate of 154.69 silenced many critics.

During the season, Kohli became the first-ever player with 8,000 runs in the IPL. He also raced to his record-breaking eighth ton, now the most in the tournament.

As per ESPNcricinfo, Kohli became the first player to complete 3,000 runs at a venue in the IPL. His tally of 3,040 runs at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium is the highest.
Kohli also completed 9,000 T20 runs in India, becoming the first player to cross this mark in a country.
Kohli's 741 runs are the second-highest for him in an IPL season.
