No surpirse
The record-breaking spending is not a surprise
The Premier League clubs broke their own record of overall spending in a window for the sixth summer in a row.
The English top-tier clubs are enjoying a continued growth in revenues, primarily from broadcasting rights. In fact, the Premier League is more profitable than even the Champions League.
It is no surprise that they are the leaders in the world's player transfer market.
