#GamingBytes: 'Hitman 2' trailer sheds light on Colombian jungle gameplay
IO Interactive, the developers of 'Hitman 2', had earlier teased a new location, the Colombian jungle. This was the second of six locations to be revealed, the first being a Miami race course. However, with the new trailer, the developers show how the jungle's dense foliage will impact the gameplay in terms of stealth and execution. Read about it here.
Where in Colombia will Agent 47 go?
The new mission will take Agent 47 or Hitman, to the village of Santa Fortuna, which is run by the Delgado Cartel with an iron fist. He is sent when all three cartel leaders are present at one place. The security is described as really tight but the Hitman has an opportunity to cut off all three heads of the serpentine cartel.
The killing fields of Colombia
The trailer shows Hitman using environmental factors and disguises to pull off murders. It urges gamers to think deadly, as Hitman sports a bright purple poncho when he executes his first kill. A bit of gameplay shows the cover in the Colombian jungle for stealth kills. Other environmental kills can be through a leaky gas pipe, fish aquarium, chandelier and a brick of cocaine.
