#GamingBytes: Hitman 2 reveals exotic playable locations in new trailer
Hitman 2, the sequel to the acclaimed episodic stealth game, 2016's Hitman, is scheduled to release on November 13. The upcoming stealth-action game officially went gold a few weeks back. Developers IO Interactive and Warner Bros. have now decided to give fans a better idea of the exotic locales, that Agent 47 will visit to carry out his kills, through a new trailer.
The locations we knew about
Previously, Hitman 2 had already showcased two locales Agent 47 would haunt, a Miami racetrack and Santa Fortuna in Colombia. The Colombia-based mission will see the silent assassin in the wilderness for the first time, taking down the heads of a fearsome cartel. The Miami mission, notably, has an Elusive Target played by Sean Bean, known for playing Ned Stark in Game of Thrones.
What are the new locales we saw?
The trailer showcases a host of previously unseen locations. We catch glimpses of Agent 47 infiltrating them. We see a beach at night-time with an approaching storm, a bustling marketplace in a tourist destination, a lush jungle among others. The places are revealed to be Hawke's Bay, New Zealand, India's Mumbai, Isle of Sgàil in North Atlantic, Whittleton Creek in Vermont and Himmelstein, Austria.
The voices in the trailer
Apart from the locales, the trailer gives us an insight into a conversation between Hitman and his handler, Diane. She speaks about the assassin's conscience and comments towards the end that no one is 'untouchable'. Possibly, the sequel will show Hitman on the trail of the Shadow Client, who featured in the 2016 game. All in all, the sequel looks promising with exciting content.
