The captain of the Under-19 squad, Prithvi Shaw is considered the next big thing in Indian cricket. At just 14 years, he made record-breaking 546 in an inter-school Harris Shield match. Prithvi has scored 232 runs in 5-matches so far with his highest score 94 coming against Australia in the group stages of the tournament. He was bought by Delhi for Rs. 1.2 crore.

Young left-arm spinner, Anukul Roy has been India's stand out bowler so far. Jharkhand-born Anukul has bagged 12 wickets in 5 matches with an economy of 3.65. This 18-year-old from Rajasthan, Kamlesh can generate some serious pace and has consistently clocked 150 kph at the Under-19 World Cup. The spearhead of the Indian attack, Nagarkoti has picked up 7 wickets with his best performance coming against Bangladesh, where he claimed 3 wickets for just 18 runs. He earned himself a contract of Rs. 3.2 crore from Kolkata Knight Riders.
