Kohli and Patidar rescued RCB after the team lost two quick wickets early on. While the former made 92(47), Patidar made a 23-ball 55. Cameron Green's 46(27) bolstered the team total even further as they finished at 241/7 in their allotted 20 overs. PBKS could not come even close to the target as they were bundled out for 181 in 17 overs.
248/3 versus Gujarat Lions, 2016
RCB racked up 248/3 against the now-defunct Gujarat Lions in Bengaluru, riding on a 229-run stand between Kohli (109*) and AB de Villiers (129*). Both Kohli and de Villiers brought up their tons. They had 20 sixes between them, with the South African batter smacking 12. GL were bundled out for 104 in reply.
262/7 versus Sunrisers Hyderabad, 2024
Chasing 288 versus Sunrisers Hyderabad earlier in the season, RCB managed 262/7 in Bengaluru. Skipper Faf du Plessis (62) added 80 runs with Kohli (42) for the first wicket. However, the team then lost five wickets inside 42 runs. Dinesh Karthik and Mahipal Lomror reignited RCB's hopes with a 59-run partnership. Though Karthik batted exceptionally well for his 83, RCB fell short.
263/5 vs Pune Warriors India, 2013
Prior to the ongoing season, RCB held the highest team score in IPL. In the 2013 game in Bengaluru, they racked up 263/5 versus the now-defunct Pune Warriors India. Chris Gayle's record-breaking 175*(66) headlined the match. That particular innings recorded a total of 21 sixes, with Gayle alone smacking 17. Notably, PWI were restricted to 133/9 in reply.
