The star of the match was Kumar Sangakkara, who scored an unbeaten 134.
After opener Kusal Perera's early dismissal, Sangakkara and Tillakaratne Dilshan (44) steadied the innings with a 92-run partnership before Sangakkara further added 85 runs with Mahela Jayawardene (42).
The southpaw then finished the chase alongside Nuwan Kulasekara, who made a breathtaking 38-ball 58*.
