Chasing 300 in the 2017 CT, Sri Lanka started strongly (The Oval), smashing a then-record 87/1 in overs 1-10.
Niroshan Dickwella (41) and Upul Tharanga (57) powered SL to 69 in 8.2 overs before Dickwella fell.

In the 1998 Champions Trophy semi-finals at Dhaka, the West Indies raced to 82/1 in the first 10 overs while chasing 243 against India.
