Zlatan says Mo Salah did not deserve the Puskas Award

LA Galaxy forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic was recently asked if Mohamed Salah deserved to win the Puskas Award, and the Swedish legend did not hesitate to speak his mind on the issue.
Zlatan said the Egyptian King did not deserve the award and hoped that he himself would be nominated next year.
The Puskas Award has raised eyebrows throughout the footballing world.

Salah's win had caused outrage
Fans were not happy with FIFA's decision to give Salah the Puskas Award and social media was flooded with memes mocking the decision.
It was widely believed that either Cristiano Ronaldo or Gareth Bale would take home the award, after their sensational overhead strikes during Real Madrid's Champions League campaign.
Even James Milner, the Liverpool captain, had made fun of the decision.

Zlatan has, himself, scored many spectacular goals and was awarded the Puskas Award in 2013.
His most famous goal is the 30-yard bicycle kick in a match against England.

Zlatan said his 500th career goal was brilliant and he should be a nominee for the Puskas Award next year.
When asked whether he has seen all the nominated goals, Zlatan replied in the negative but praised Ronaldo's strike.
At 36 years of age, Zlatan is showing no signs of stopping and has already scored 18 goals in 23 appearances.
