What's the story
Rahul Dravid, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) head coach recently suffered a leg injury while playing club cricket in Karnataka with his son Anvay.
The former Indian captain injured his left leg in the process.
However, despite the injury, Dravid is determined to attend the RR's 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) preparatory camp which begins today (March 12) in Jaipur.

RR confirmed Dravid's injury and his commitment to the training camp on their social media handles.
The 2008 IPL champions shared an image of the Indian cricket legend sporting a plaster on his left leg but assured fans that this wouldn't deter him from coaching the team.
RR will kick off their IPL 2025 campaign in Hyderabad against Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 23.

Notably, this season marks Dravid's return to the Rajasthan Royals after a decade-long hiatus. He has previously served as the franchise's captain and mentor.
His deep-rooted connection with RR is evident in his dedication to lead them toward their potential second IPL title.
Although RR won't play at home until April 13, the team will continue their preparations for IPL 2025 at their base in Jaipur.
