Bangladesh pacer Hasan Mahmud registered his maiden five-wicket haul in Test cricket as Pakistan were folded for 172 in the third innings of the ongoing second and final Test at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The right-arm pacer bowled a lethal opening spell on Day 3 evening before continuing his heroics on Day 4. Here we look at his stats.
A sensational spell from Mahmud
Pakistan had to start their second innings in the final few minutes of Day 3. Mahmud jolted them by removing opener Abdullah Shafique and nightwatchman Khurram Shahzad cheaply. On Day 4, Mahmud opened his account with the prize scalp of Mohammad Rizwan, who made 43. Tail-enders Mohammad Ali and Mir Hamza were his other two victims.
