The IPL 2019 final was one of the most thrilling matches to date, which saw the tie go down to the final ball.
However, holders Chennai Super Kings failed to defend their title, as Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians won their record fourth trophy.
Meanwhile, CSK spinner Harbhajan Singh has revealed that their opener Shane Watson was playing with an injury.

Watson played with a bleeding knee, reveals Harbhajan
Following the final, Harbhajan revealed that Watson battled a bleeding knee to help CSK reach close to the total.
He also added that following the match, Watson needed six stitches.
It all happened while he was running and dived to save himself from being run out, as he injured himself in the process.
Notably, this injury was missed by the TV crews.

"Can you guys see the blood on his knee. He got 6 stitches after the game. Got injured while diving but continued to bat without telling anyone," Harbhajan had earlier written in his Instagram post.
Second highest
Watson finished as CSK's second-highest run-scorer this season
Watson continued to impress with the bat for CSK for the second season in a row.
In 2019, he finished as their second-highest run scorer, scoring 398 runs from 17 innings at an average of 23.41, including three half-centuries and a top score of 96.
Notably, he had scored a ton in the final of last year's tournament, as CSK clinched their third title.
