Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton has penned a new two-year deal with Mercedes that will see him stay till 2020. The defending champion has agreed on a £30 mn deal per year, which could rise to £40 mn after bonuses. Hamilton stated that it was good to put pen on paper and get on with business as usual. He also added that he shares a valuable relationship with Mercedes both on and off the track. Lewis is aiming to win more Championship titles with the German F1 car manufacturer. They have dominated F1 circuit since 2014, after introduction of turbo hybrid engines.
A battle against Vettel on the cards
Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel is leading the 2018 standings at the moment. He leads Hamilton by eight points, with the German Grand Prix set to be held this weekend.
