Pakistan name T20I and ODI squads for Zimbabwe tour
Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the teams for the nation's upcoming tour of Zimbabwe, starting next month. Pakistan will be involved in a T20I tri-series which also involves Australia and then will be playing a 5-match ODI series against Zimbabwe. The star names, who have made a comeback to the squad, are Mohammad Hafeez and leg-spinner Yasir Shah. Here is more about it.
Hafeez, Shah add depth to the squad
Yasir Shah had missed the tour of Ireland and England recently due to an injury and he makes a comeback to the ODI squad. The leg-spinner, who has 165 wickets in 28 Tests, has played just 17 ODIs for Pakistan. Mohammad Hafeez is back in both ODI and T20I squads. He will lend a lot of value, both as a batsman and a spinner.
Babar Azam will hope to be fit for ODIs
Pakistan star batsman Babar Azam, who had fractured his wrist in the first Test against England, misses out on T20Is. However, he has been named in the ODI squad, subject to fitness. Azam brings in a lot of class in the middle-order.
