Gujarat Titans floored the Chennai Super Kings in Match 59 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season on Friday. The Titans rode on a defining 210-run opening stand between Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan to post 231/3 in 20 overs. Both batters smashed respective centuries. In response, CSK (196/8) faltered in the run-chase. Pacer Mohit Sharma (3/31) was excellent for GT.

Gill and Sudharsan's 210-run stand is GT's highest for any wicket in the competition's history. The previous best was 147 runs added between the pair for the second wicket against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Ahmedabad. This was the fourth century-plus stand between the pair.
