#GamingBytes: GTA Online puts new twist on classic Trading Places
Grand Theft Auto Online, recently, introduced an Adversary Mode of gameplay called Trading Places Remix. It revives an old mode in the online multi-player game. It follows the Hunting Pack Remix, which released last month, as part of the After Hours expansion. This mode takes the classic game's formula and makes a few interesting changes to it. Read all about the changes here.
What is an Adversary Mode?
Adversary modes tend to be competitive missions, usually based on popular movie tropes. The gameplay is really simple. There are two groups, where one of the groups has to continuously survive against the assault from another group.
What was the gameplay of original Trading Places?
Trading Places is inspired by the classic comedy of the same name, starring Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd. The two teams are 'Winners' and 'Losers'. During the match, the objective of 'Winners' is survival, while 'Losers' will continuously try to eliminate them to become winners. If a Winner is killed by a Loser, they trade places and have to fight for their old stature.
Take a good game and make it better
In the Remix, 'Winners' have juggernaut armor and mini-guns. They can also pick up other powerful weapons like rail-guns and rockets in the custom-designed ring. The Losers start off as Beasts. They are monsters with extremely strong melee attacks, super jumps, and cloaking powers. With one team having the firepower and another quick and stealthy movement, the Remix promises to be incredibly fun!
