Shahrukh Khan completes 1,000 T20 runs with maiden IPL fifty
Gujarat Titans dasher Shahrukh Khan brought up his maiden fifty in T20 cricket. The batter scored a fiery 58 in Match 45 of the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. He rescued the Titans with an 86-run stand with Sai Sudharsan following the loss of two quick wickets. En route, he also completed 1,000 T20 runs. Here are his stats.

Maiden half-century for Shahrukh
With the help of three boundaries and five maximums, Shahrukh scored a fiery 58 off 30 balls. This was his maiden T20 fifty as he has raced to 514 runs across 38 IPL games at 19.77 (SR: 141.21). He also raced past 1,000 (now 1,016) runs in 88 T20 matches at a strike rate of 136.74.

Sudharsan continued to bat well following Shahrukh's departure and scored an unbeaten 84 off 49 balls. David Miller contributed with 26* runs as the Titans posted 200/3 while batting first at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Siraj (1/34 in 4 overs), Swapnil Singh (1/23 in 3 overs), and Glenn Maxwell (1/28) were exceptional with the ball for RCB.
