What's the story

The WWE Super ShowDown pay-per-view was a hit overall, but the main event involving legends Goldberg and The Undertaker didn't fly as it was marred by a number of botches. As the match came to a pre-mature conclusion, both the superstars and the WWE Universe were unhappy with how the match transpired. And here, we analyze why these two legends should not wrestle anymore.

Athleticism

They are barely able to move, lack athleticism

Aging makes people weak as their body movements slow down. The wrestlers are not immune to it and they too face the same consequences, besides losing athleticism. Both these legends are well beyond 50s as they are nearing the end of their careers. In their past few matches, it has been evident that not just they are unable to move, but also lack athleticism.

Repercussions

Forcing themselves to wrestle could have major repercussions

Aging also leads to a number of health issues. For the wrestlers, forcing themselves to fight at this age could very well lead to serious health troubles, which could also put their life at risk. There have been instances where wrestlers have faced major injuries inside the ring and these two wrestlers should not take such a risk.

Legacy

Making a mockery of their legacy

There is no doubt both these men are the GOATs of WWE. While Goldberg is already a Hall of Famer, Undertaker is definitely a future one. Having cemented their place in the history books, they have nothing else left to prove in this business and should calmly hang up their boots. Forcing them to wrestle improperly at this age is tarnishing their legacy.

Lack of skills

Goldberg lacks proper wrestling skills

As for Goldberg, while he might have been a powerful man, he lacks wrestling skills. Besides raw power and strength, he never had anything else. If one remembers, he once botched a kick in a fight against Bret Hart, which forced the latter to suffer a concussion. For a proper wrestling match, Goldberg would need more than a Spear and a Jackhammer.

Nothing to prove

Undertaker has nothing left to prove

While Undertaker still continues to entertain fans on his own will, he is simply wasting himself. Not just that he is taking a spot of a deserving talent, he has nothing to prove. He has won it at all with WWE. His symbolic retirement at WrestleMania 33, following his loss to Roman Reigns, would have been a proper one.
