Adam Gilchrist reveals the toughest Indian bowler he has faced
Australian wicket-keeper batsman Adam Gilchrist is certainly one of the most legendary openers to have played the sport. While the Hall of Famer did make a name for himself, courtesy his prolific batting, he was also troubled by some top bowlers. On the same note, he reveals which bowler troubled him the most, which also, interestingly, included an Indian.
Gilchrist rates Harbhajan Singh as the toughest Indian he faced
Speaking on the toughest Indian he faced during his career, Gilchrist singled out off-spinner Harbhajan Singh as the one, who had bamboozled him and Australia in 2001. "Harbhajan bamboozled us. He was a bit of a nemesis for me right throughout my career. I found him and Murali probably the two hardest bowlers to face," he quoted during cricket.com.au's The Unplayable Podcast.

"We were five for 99, I went in there, got a hundred off 80 balls, we won in three days and I just thought, 'What have these blokes been doing for 30 years. How easy is this? And, how wrong I was," added Gilchrist.
Gilchrist admits Australia changed their Test tactics following 2001 series
Gilchrist admitted that following Harbhajan's outmaneuver, Australia brought in a change in their tactics when it came to Tests, as they realized that they couldn't attack out of every situation. "We had to learn to swallow our ego and go defensive, and that was very much part of the whole collective mindset of the group," he concluded.
