Fourth seed Elena Rybakina reached the 2024 French Open third round after beating Arantxa Rus. The Kazakhstan star claimed a 6-3, 6-4 win in the women's singles second-round clash after over an hour. Rybakina bounced back in the second set after Rus broke her serve at 4-2. The former broke twice thereafter. Rybakina, the 2022 Wimbledon champion, now has 11 wins at Roland Garros.
