#GamingBytes: Fortnite will get a new vehicle called the QuadCrasher
Fortnite Season 6 is underway and it has already seen a host of interesting changes in the map and exciting additions like the Chiller Trap, Quad Launcher and Shadow Stones. Another exciting addition, in way of a new vehicle, is coming for Fortnite gamers. QuadCrasher, the quad bike-like vehicle, will be the third four-wheeler in the game besides shopping trolleys and All Terrain Karts.
All about the QuadCrasher
The QuadCrasher was teased on the news screen of Fortnite. However, no official release date has been announced. The vehicle appears to be a two-seater and its steel-front looks like it means serious business. Epic teased the QuadCrasher could be charged up to plough through structures or 'get some air'. Presumably, the charging process will resemble the All Terrain Kart's Mario-Kart styled drift boost.
How does the QuadCrasher promise to change gameplay?
As gamers know, Fortnite is infamous for allowing players to build structures in the Battle Royale. Quite a few players exploit this by retreating behind structures and camping during firefights. However, with the QuadCrasher being able to break through structures, they will no longer be safe camping. It remains to be seen if the quad bike can plough through advanced steel structures as well.
Changes in the right direction
The structures have long caused the issue of camping which leads to stalemate situations towards the end of the game. To rectify and enliven the Battle Royale, developers Epic had introduced shifting storm cycles. The introduction of QuadCrasher is another step in the right direction.
