#GamingBytes: Fortnite's technique makes players impossible to get shot

    What's the story

Fortnite is one of the most popular Battle Royale games. Introduced by Epic, this game's constant updates and bug fixes make it enticing to gamers.

However, there seems to be a new bug in Epic's latest update, which players are exploiting. Due to this bug, it becomes impossible to shoot players. This makes the gameplay unfair.

    Read about it here.

    The problem

    What is this new bug?

Fortnite players know how important building is within the game.

Despite weapon upgrades and skilled playing, what sets apart a good player from an average one, is the building capacity.

The new bug, in Fortnite, allows players to build another structure in front of an existing wall without moving, or editing the existing wall.

This has created a massive undue advantage.

    Advantage

How are players exploiting this bug?

Players are exploiting this bug by taking turtling to a whole new level in-game.

Since they don't need to move or edit a wall to build a structure in front of it, they keep on building without exposing themselves to enemies.

This guarantees perpetual protection as every shot can be blocked by structures, making it impossible for enemies to shoot them.

    Bug fix

    Fleeting moments for Fortnite players

Although Epic hasn't addressed this matter yet, it is likely to introduce a hotfix instead of waiting for its update at the start of Season 6.

However, it is unknown if Epic would ban players who exploited this bug.

Interestingly, this glitch could have radically affected its Fall Skirmish series which is set to begin soon, if it had gone undiscovered.
