#GamingBytes: Is Fortnite introducing dragons in the Battle Royale?
The game studio behind Fortnite, Epic Games, keeps on adding exciting content and mysterious plot points. As we had reported, the snow on the map is spreading, indicating that some major event is headed our way in Season 7. To top it off, players have now discovered what might be dragon eggs. Read all about this development here.
Game files hint at dragon eggs in the game
Season 7 is in its third week and gamers have discovered game files hinting at 'Dragon Eggs'. Added to patch v7.10, these game files indicate that there will be dragon eggs in Ice Castle. Initially, players doubted it, but a leaked audio patch happened to convey the sounds of a heartbeat, leading gamers to believe that something might be growing inside the eggs.

Ice Castle does not exist on the Fortnite map
Ice Castle, where the eggs are supposed to be, does not exist on the Fortnite map. However, players believe that the ice on the Polar Peak would melt, revealing the Ice Castle where the eggs apparently are. For now, the place remains inaccessible, yet a gamer managed to get there due to some glitches and caught the first glimpse of the 'Dragon Eggs'.
Scaly at the bottom, ready to hatch perhaps
The gamer claimed to have found five of these eggs under the Ice Castle. The lower part of the eggs appear to have icy scales but outlines of an infant creature can be seen in the top part. While it does not resemble dragons, there is a chance that these creatures will grow when the Ice Castle is opened officially for gamers of Fortnite.
Counting our dragons before they are hatched
Let me jump right in and suggest a hatching incident is coming to Fortnite, considering the dragon eggs and the leaked heartbeat sound file. Further, Fortnite has already added planes and it would not be surprising to see majestic dragons spreading their wings and taking flight across the skies. As usual, we have to wait for Epic's official confirmation to be sure about dragons.
