Lewis Hamilton fastest on first pre-season testing day
Mercedes Benz's Lewis Hamilton was the fastest driver on the first day of the pre-season testing.
He completed 152 laps of the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, clocking the best lap of 1 minute 21.765 seconds.
The Briton was followed by Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel, who was just 0.113 seconds slower.
McLaren's Fernando Alonso suffered an oil system problem, costing him the whole session.
