NZ cricketer Grant Elliott retires from all forms of cricket
On Tuesday, former New Zealand cricketer Grant Elliott announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. He was recently seen playing for the Birmingham Bears in the T20 Blast. Bears failed to qualify for the knockouts and that prompted the veteran to take this decision. He was one of the established players, in T20s, across various global leagues. Here's more on Elliott.

The veteran played 150 T20s across the globe and amassed 2,209 runs with a top score of 70. He also played 211 List A matches and scored 5,126 runs with a best of 115. Elliott was a part of 83 First-class matches and scored 3,883 runs which included 8 tons. The 39-year-old enjoyed a career that lasted 22 years.
A look at Elliott's international career
The veteran Kiwi retired from international cricket in March last year. He represented New Zealand in 5 Tests, 83 ODIs and 17 T20Is. Elliott will always be remembered, fondly, for his innings (84* runs) against South Africa that guided his side to the final of the ICC 2015 World Cup. He followed that up with 83 in the final against Australia.
