Former East Bengal mid-fielder Kalia Kulothungan passes away

The football fraternity is deeply saddened by the sudden demise of former East Bengal and Mohammedan Sporting mid-fielder Kalia Kulothungan.
The Tamil Nadu born player died in a bike accident on Saturday.
The 39-year-old former Tamil Nadu skipper suffered the fatal accident in his village.
The mid-fielder last turned out for Kolkata side Bhawanipore FC.

Kulothungan won titles with East Bengal
The former mid-fielder played for a host of clubs during his career.
He represented 4 Bengal outfits, besides Mumbai FC and Viva Kerala.
He won several trophies during a successful career that included two I-League titles with East Bengal.
Tributes poured in for the player from several corners of the football fraternity.
He was an inspiration for many budding players.
