Italy draws match 1-1 against Spain
Italy remained unbeaten in home qualifiers after the Group I match of World Cup qualifiers between Italy and Spain ended in a 1-1 draw. Machin Perez scored for Spain in the 55th minute. A late penalty by Italy's Daniele De Rossi earned a 1-1 home draw for Italy. The draw took Italy's tally of unbeaten matches at home to 50.
Marko scores twice as Austria hold Wales 2-2
In the match between Austria and Wales, Marko Arnautovic scored twice for Austria as they held Wales from a win. Joe Allen scored the first goal for Wales in the 22nd minute, Marko scored the first goal for Austria in the 28th minute. Wales took a lead of 2-1 in the first-half, but another goal by Marko in the 48th minute equalized the scores.
Ireland, Serbia register win in their respective games
In other group D matches, Republic of Ireland defeated Georgia 1-0, while Serbia thrashed Moldova 3-0. Seamus Coleman scored his first international goal to help Ireland win.
Iceland defeats Finland 3-2
Iceland has defeated Finland 3-2 in the Group I match of the World Cup Qualifiers. The Euro 2016 quarter-finalists scored two goals in the last six minutes of the game to take the lead and win the game. Alfred Finnbogason scored the equalizer goal for Iceland in the 90th minute, before Ragnar Sigurdsson scored the winning goal in the added sixth minute.
Other matches of Group G
In the other two matches, Albania and Israel won their respective matches. Albania defeated Liechtenstein 2-0, while Israel beat Macedonia 2-1.
