Man City defender moves to Lyon for €10 million
Manchester City defender, Jason Denayer, has finally moved out of the Etihad Stadium and shall be plying his trades for the Ligue 1 side Lyon. After numerous loan spells away from City, Denayer has moved this time permanently. A youth academy graduate, he leaves without making a single first-team appearance for the club. Denayer's loan spells: How did they go?
During his stint with Manchester City, Denayer was loaned out to Celtic, Sunderland, and twice to Galatasaray. Denayer was quite successful at Celtic and even bagged the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year award. He was impressive with Galatasaray as well, providing important assists on various occasions. During his second spell with the club, he won the Super Lig with them.

Earlier, Denayer had said, "The club and I had already reached a personal agreement, but City are vetoing a move and are pushing me to Girona. We'll see what'll happen in the coming weeks. If the situation is not resolved, I will go to Girona."
Honors and achievements
Denayer has won the Super Lig (2017-18) and the Turkish Cup (2015-16) with Galatasaray. With Celtic, the defender bagged the Scottish Premiership and the Scottish League Cup (2014-15). The 2014-15 season saw him winning individual honors- he was the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year and was also voted in the PFA Scotland Team of the Year.
