Spurs extend contracts of star duo

Tottenham Hotspur duo of Heung-Min Son and Erik Lamela have signed new contracts. South Korean Son, who has been a pivotal figure at the club, agreed on a 5-year extension. He has been a constant performer since joining the club in 2015. Meanwhile, Lamela too has penned a new 4-year deal, which will see him stay at the club until 2022.

Barca make a third bid for Willian

Spanish champions want to bolster their attacking options further and have made an improved third bid for Chelsea star Willian. According to reports, a bid in excess of £55 mn has been made by the club. The player is believed to be wanting a move away from the Blues where scored 44 goals in 236 appearances since joining in 2013.

Higuain

Chelsea contact Juve regarding talisman Higuain

Chelsea are interested in Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain this summer and have made an initial contact with the Serie A club. The Blues could be open to sell Alvaro Morata and get Higuain instead. The Argentine had moved to Juve two seasons earlier and has helped them to several domestic trophies. The former Real Madrid player would be a great addition.

Everton, Arsenal eye new recruits

Everton are believed to be in talks with Watford as manager Marco Silva wants to be reunited with Brazilian Richarlison. The youngster would come for at least £50 mn in this hyper-inflated transfer window. Arsenal, on the other hand, are interested in Andre Gomes of Barcelona as the player has fallen down the pecking order at Camp Nou since his move in 2016.
