Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes that young forward Marcus Rashford has all the attributes to be as good as the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo. Rashford has been in terrific form of late and his goals were decisive in United's wins against Tottenham and Manchester City. Rashford has done well this season
Rashford has been tremendous for United and has already netted 13 goals across competitions this season. Notably, United who needed a push, were helped by the forward in their resurgence of late. He has equaled his best return in the top flight and looks set to weave his magic. Notably, he is just 22 and there are signs of him progressing.
Solskjaer likens Rashford to Ronaldo
United boss Solskjaer said he saw similarities of Rashford with Portuguese forward Ronaldo, who scored 118 times in 292 appearances for United from 2003-2009. Ronaldo, who now plies his trade at Juventus, had joined Real Madrid in 2009 after leaving Old Trafford. He joined the Serie A champions in 2018. Solskjaer underlined the similarities between the two players and hoped Rashford keeps shining.

Rashford is the main focal point for United in attack and a lot depends on how he keeps going from here on. A lot of hope is pinned on the English international to be the next big thing for United. With a youth force in attack, the future for United looks promising. Although, he has a lot to learn in the game.

"It's very easy to compare the two of them, yes," Solskjaer said. "Both with skills, body shape, attitude, attributes everything. The boy has every chance in the world to become a top, top player. Let's hope he continues like this."
