Flintoff claims earth is shaped like a turnip
We all remember Andrew Flintoff, one of the best all-rounders to have graced the sport. But do you know what he is upto these days? The former England cricketer has become obsessed with a podcast which goes by the name 'The Flat Earthers' and is convinced that the earth is not spherical. What have you been drinking, mate?
Flintoff is convinced the Earth is FLAT
The Ashes is underway and the English are struggling but Flintoff seems to be more interested in conspiracy theories, which is what the podcast claims. Despite the fact that the earth is a spherical planet is known since the Ancient Greek era, the podcast claims that it is a lie peddled by fantasy brand Disney.
England cricketer seems convinced
Speaking on his podcast with former Leicester City midfielder Robbie Savage, Flintoff denounced all scientific evidence that proved earth is spherical. When the question about satellite images which show that the earth is indeed round came up, the former England all-rounder instead argued for his new belief that the earth is flat.
In Flintoff's own words
Quoting the former England cricketer ''If you're in a helicopter and you hover why does the Earth not come to you if it's round?" "Why, if we're hurtling through space, why would water stay still? Why is it not wobbling? Also if you fire a laser about 16 miles, if the world was curved, you shouldn't be able to see it but you can."
Flintoff claims earth us shaped like a TURNIP.
Andrew Flintoff himself doesn't believe that the earth is completely flat rather it is shaped like a turnip. The cricketer also invited Robbie Savage along with him to the 'The Flat Earth International Conference' in North Carolina next year. We think you should play some cricket, the boredom bug has got to you Freddie.
