Pots 1-3: Know the key details
Qatar will be seeded and is directly assigned to the A1 slot. Qatar will play in Group A. The other seven seeded teams will be the sides with the highest FIFA ranking. Teams ranked between 8-15 of the qualified teams will be allocated to Pot 2. The 16th-23rd best-ranked qualified sides will be placed in Pot 3.
What about Pot 4?
As far as Pot 4 is concerned, this will include the qualified teams in positions 24 to 28. Also, there will be three placeholders representing the two winners of the intercontinental play-offs and the remaining UEFA playoff winners.

The FIFA World Cup 2022 will start on November 21 this year with the group stages. The round of 16 matches will start from December 3 onwards. The quarter-finals will start on December 9. The semis will start from December 14 onwards. The third-place play-off will be played on December 17. The final will be held on December 18. All timings are on IST.
