14.1 overs: RCB vs PBKS, IPL 2016
Royal Challengers Bengaluru were on fire in IPL 2016. In Match 50 against Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) in Bengaluru, they set a 212-run target in 15 overs (rain-curtailed fixture). The Royal Challengers reached 200 in just 14.1 overs, the fastest in an IPL innings. Virat Kohli stood out with a 50-ball 113. RCB later won the match by 82 runs (D/L method).

SRH broke quite a few records by slamming 277/3 (20) against Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024. This became the highest team total in IPL history, though SRH surpassed this later in the season. In that match, the Orange Army completed their double-hundred in just 14.4 overs, the fastest in an IPL innings wherein 20 overs were bowled. SRH later won by 31 runs.
14.5 overs: SRH vs DC, IPL 2024
SRH continued their record-breaking spree in IPL 2024 with another 250+ total, this time against DC in Delhi. They beat the Capitals after defending 266/7. As mentioned, the Orange Army reached 200 in 14.5 overs, scripted history yet again. Head and Abhishek added 131 runs in just 6.1 overs after DC elected to field. They now have the highest powerplay score in T20 cricket.
14.6 overs: SRH vs RCB, IPL 2024
Days after the MI match, SRH recorded 287/3 against RCB in Bengaluru, now the highest IPL team total. This is also the second-highest team total in overall T20 cricket. Notably, the Orange Army reached their 200 in 14.6 overs in that match. Head smashed the fourth-fastest IPL ton, while Heinrich Klaasen wreaked havoc with his 31-ball 67.
15.2 overs: KKR vs DC, IPL 2024
Earlier this season, Kolkata Knight Riders racked up 272/7 against Delhi Capitals in Vizag. They were a whisker away from breaking SRH's record of scoring 277/3 MI. Nevertheless, KKR claimed a big win by 106 runs. The Knight Riders raced to 200 in just 15.2 overs and occupy the fourth spot on this list. Rinku Singh's 8-ball 26 helped KKR go past 260.
