5 superstars whose WWE comeback fans would love to see
Not all talented wrestlers see their values asserted by WWE, as some shine while others are made to work the lower cards or their contracts are just terminated. There have been instances of supremely talented performers leaving the WWE to find their true worth elsewhere. Here we present to you a list of wrestlers whose WWE comebacks we, as fans, cannot wait for.
Carlito's Caribbean cool can do wonders for WWE
Since he debuted in 2004, we knew Carlito could have been a major heel in the WWE. He had the charisma, the evil grin, and was great on the mic as well. He even had a great feud with John Cena. WWE lacks such an authentic heel, and bringing him back with a feud against someone like Dean Ambrose would be too 'cool'.
AJ Lee was one of the most charismatic female heels
AJ Lee is now an author and married to WWE's ultimate outlaw, CM Punk. It cannot be denied that she was highly influential during her prime, and her gimmick of a mentally unstable person was extremely well-received. A re-invigoration of her character can garner huge interest, and with her great character work, Lee can add a spark to the women's division.
'The Animal' Batista's return will be a treat for fans
Batista shot to fame during his run with Evolution, and after even after the group broke up, he was still at the top of the cards, winning the Heavyweight and the WWE Championships on multiple occasions. Batista is the longest-reigning Heavyweight Champion, with 282 days spent with the title. His return to in-ring action and possible feuds with Lesnar and Strowman will be thrilling.
Is original Sin Cara's return possible after his major fall-outs?
Sin Cara was a highly athletic performer during his WWE days, and presently he is a major player in the Mexican wrestling circuit. WWE ended the contract with him because he used to botch up performances on numerous occasions, even failing to perform his jump into the ring several times. Notwithstanding, his comeback and a probable feud with Rey Mysterio sounds exciting!
Is the return of the prodigal son possible?
Hands down, CM Punk is one of the best wrestlers WWE has ever had, and both his in-ring work and on-mic skills were absolutely unparalleled. Punk, however, could never accept where his character was going and spoke against WWE authorities on television. We cannot deny he is still the 'Best in The World' and we wish this charismatic wrestler gets another chance at WWE.
