Victor Lindelof signs a €35 million deal with ManU
In one of the first football transfers this summer, Sweden's Victor Lindelof has completed a €35 million transfer from Benfica to Jose Mourinho's Manchester United. The 22-year old signed a four-year deal, with an option of one more year. Lindelof will be second centre-back for the Red Devils after they signed Ivory Coast's Eric Bailly last year.
Griezmann to continue at Madrid till 2022
Putting an end to all the speculations that he will be joining Manchester United, Antoine Griezmann signed an extension deal with Atletico Madrid, with a release clause of €100 million. Although Griezmann has signed one year extension deal, Atletico Madrid president is determined to keep him with the club till 2022. The deal amount has not been reveled by the club.
Bayern Munich sign Corentin Tolisso
French midfielder Corentin Tolisso has joined German champions Bayern Munich for a fee of €41.5 million, with a maximum €6 million in bonus depending on his performance. Ending a 10-year old association with Lyon, Tolisso is all set to be with Bayern for the next five seasons. He became the club's fourth sign this summer after Niklas Sule, Serge Gnabry and Sebastian Rudy.
Lindelof looking forward to play under Mourinho
After signing the deal, Lindelof said, "I am thrilled to be joining Manchester United. I'm looking forward to playing in the Premier League at Old Trafford and for Jose Mourinho."
Arsenal hurdle between Sanchez and other English clubs
Arsenal seem to be determined to sell their forward Alexis Sanchez outside of Premier League, thus rejecting any bids from Manchester City and Chelsea. Gunners' refusal to let Sanchez go to other English clubs leave Bayern Munich the only option for the forward. However, the Chilien has his heart set on joining Manchester City for a reunion with Pep Guardiola.
