Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City are still believed to be interested in £35 million Nice mid-fielder Jean-Michael Seri. Chelsea's position is a bit complex given their managerial situation and it remains to be seen whether they would make an official bid. Arsenal are the leaders at the moment with a firm interest. Man City are eyeing Jorginho, but Seri remains an option.
No more interest in Roma's Alisson
As per reports, Liverpool are likely to pull out of the race for AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson. Roma have put a whopping £80 million valuation on the player, which would make him the costliest keeper in the world. The player is also being linked with a move to Real Madrid and Chelsea. Liverpool are in the market for a keeper and are monitoring options.
Watford sign Gerard Deulofeu in five-year deal
Gerard Deulofeu has signed for Watford from Barcelona in a five-year deal. The Spaniard spent the 2017-18 season on loan at Vicarage Road, but featured in only seven games. Watford have got him for a fee of £11.5 million and there could be £3.5 million in add-ons. Gerard had signed for Everton earlier, but then went back to Barcelona after his clause was activated.
