    What's the story

The 2018 summer transfer window is gaining shape day by day, as players continue to make the moves.

Several biggies are being listed as potential arrivals with clubs rumored to be seeking deals which get done quickly.

After Manchester United confirmed Fred and Juventus announced Emre Can on Thursday, there is plenty happening around the market.

    Here are the transfer updates.

    Interest

West Ham in for free agent Jack Wilshere

After signing Lukasz Fabianski from Swansea City, West Ham United are now seeking to bolster their squad further by getting Jack Wilshere.

The player's contract with Arsenal is coming to an end this month and will be available as a free agent.

Reports claim that the Hammers are one of the Premier League clubs interested in the 26-year-old mid-fielder.

    Left-back

    Jordi Alba interests Manchester United

Jose Mourinho is said to be getting a new left-back and has set his eyes on Barcelona stalwart Jordi Alba.

The Spanish left-back has a £52.5 mn release clause.

Current left-back Luke Shaw is believed to be making an exit and is looking for new pastures.

But United aren't the only club interested in Alba, as Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring the situation, as well.

    New singing?

Lucas Torreira set to be a Gunner

Italian club Sampdoria have stated that Lucas Torreira has left the club.

According to reports, the Gunners had offered £26.4 mn for the talented Uruguayan.

The deal is expected to close soon and confirmation will be on the way.

He is set to become Arsenal manager Unai Emery's third summer signing.

The defensive mid-fielder made 74 appearances for Sampdoria.

    Arrival

    Villarreal sign Everton's Funes Mori

Spanish side Villarreal have completed the signing of Ramiro Funes Mori from Everton with a four-year contract.

The player had an injury-raven spell at the Toffees since joining them in 2015.

He made a total of 55 appearances.

The fee wasn't disclosed by either of the clubs, but is expected to be in the region of £17.5 mn.
