Ramos scripts record in Spain's 1-1 draw against Norway
Veteran Spanish defender Sergio Ramos became Europe's most capped male outfield player. Ramos' 168th cap also made him Spain's record appearance maker, surpassing former goal-keeper Iker Casillas. Saul Niguez gave Spain the lead with a dipping second-half effort. However, it was was cancelled out by Josh King's injury-time penalty. This happened after goalie Kepa Arrizabalaga brought down Omar Elabdellaoui.

Italy shine at home to beat Greece
Italy overcame Greece 2-0 at home to seal a berth in the Euro 2020 competition. Chelsea mid-fielder Jorginho opened the scoring for the hosts from the penalty spot after Andreas Bouchalakis' handball. Substitute Federico Bernardeschi added a late second. The win saw Italy top Group J with 21 points. Meanwhile, Bosnia-Herzegovina thrashed second-placed Finland 4-1. They are fourth in Group J.
Other crucial results in Euro 2020 Qualifiers
Denmark beat Switzerland 1-0 to earn three crucial points in Group D. They now have 12 points from six games and are level with Republic of Ireland, who were held to a goalless draw by Georgia. Romania thrashed Faroe Islands 3-0 to get to 13 points in Group J. Armenia were held 1-1 by Liechtenstein to remain on third place in Group J.
