The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have announced the appointment of Dwayne Bravo as their new mentor. He will be replacing Gautam Gambhir, who has transitioned to the Indian team.
Prior to this role, Bravo served as the bowling coach for Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
The Trinidadian all-rounder has an impressive record in T20 cricket with 631 wickets and nearly 7,000 runs from 582 matches.

Bravo has expressed his excitement about this new phase in his career.
He stated, "I've been part of the Trinbago Knight Riders for the last 10 years in the CPL."
He further added, "Having played for and against the Knight Riders in various leagues, I have a lot of respect for how they operate."
Bravo also praised the passion of KKR's owners and professionalism of its management team.

Venky Mysore, CEO of Knight Riders Group, has expressed his delight over Bravo's appointment.
He said, "DJ Bravo joining us is an exciting development."
Mysore believes that Bravo's relentless drive to win and his vast experience will greatly benefit their franchise and players.
He also revealed that Bravo would be involved with their other franchises globally, including CPL, MLC, and ILT20.
Retirement
Retirement from all cricket
Bravo retired from all forms of cricket on September 26.
The celebrated all-rounder, prematurely ended his Caribbean Premier League (CPL) career due to a groin injury earlier this week.
The unfortunate incident occurred during a match against St Lucia Kings in Tarouba on Tuesday.
Bravo, who has featured in the CPL since the inaugural edition in 2013, leads the wickets column.
