Pratham Singh, a 31-year-old cricketer from Delhi, is making waves in the ongoing Duleep Trophy 2024. The India A opener brought up a remarkable century for India A on Day 3 of the ongoing match against India D in Anantapur. Singh completed his fifty in the final session of Day 2 and walked back unbeaten. He has now brought up his second First-Class hundred. Pratham ended up scoring 122 off 189 balls (12 fours, 1 six).

India A, who had earned a 107-run first-innings lead, further tightened their grip in the game thanks to Pratham. Born on August 31, 1992, in Delhi, Pratham has been a consistent performer for Railways at the domestic level. He also represented them in the U19 side. Earlier this year in February, he scored an unbeaten 169 while playing for Railways against Tripura. Despite being part of IPL 2024 title winners Kolkata Knight Riders and Gujarat Lions earlier, he didn't get to play any match for them.

In his First-Class career, Singh has raced to 1,690 runs across 30 matches with an average of 35-plus. This includes two hundreds and 10 half-centuries. He also has 1,097 runs from 28 List A games at an average of 40.62 with two centuries and eight fifties to his name. In T20 format, he has played 41 games and amassed a total of 1,132 runs at an average of nearly 30 including eight fifties.
