The game saw Axar Patel, one of India's top spin-bowling all-rounders, deliver an impressive performance before being caught out by Manav Suthar.
Suthar's brilliant catch in the out-field brought an end to Axar's rescuing knock of 86 on Day 1.

Axar rescues Team D on Day 1
Axar stepped up to the crease when his team was tottering on 34/5, after India C elected to field.
Despite witnessing three more wickets fall from the other end, he remained unfazed and continued to bat aggressively.
The Indian all-rounder found a reliable partner in Arshdeep Singh, and together they managed an impressive 84-run partnership, bringing some stability to India D's innings.

Axar's powerful innings ends with a stunning catch
Axar smashed an 118-ball 86, a knock laced with 6 fours and as many sixes.
He was eventually caught out by Suthar while attempting to take Hrithik Shokeen out for a maximum.
Suthar, who was guarding the deep mid-wicket boundary, had to take several steps back and execute a full-stretch dive to secure the catch with both hands.
