Dhruv Jurel bags fielding medal after Mumbai T20I against England

Team India's Dhruv Jurel bagged the fielding medal after he showed exceptional skills as a substitute fielder in the the fifth and final T20I between against England at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium.
India's fielding coach R Sridhar praised the team's performance before calling captain Suryakumar Yadav to present the medal to Jurel in the dressing room.
Notably, Jurel took three catches a substitute fielder in the final T20I.

Sridhar also praised the team's aggressive approach toward fielding throughout the series.
He said fielding is not just a skill thing, but an attitude thing.
"Phenomenal stuff, boys. When it comes to fielding, I think we as a team always try to be aggressive and even in this series we showed that fielding is not just about skill," he said.

Sridhar also emphasized the team's ability to adapt to different challenges during the series.
He lauded their top-notch performance despite having to deal with different conditions like dew, bigger outfields, faster outfields, and lights.
"We were thrown different challenges throughout the series... I think whatever when thrown at us, we are top notch," he said.
Player recognition
Chakravarthy's hard work recognized by coach Sridhar
Along with Jurel's praise, Sridhar also praised Varun Chakravarthy for his commitment to hone his fielding.
Chakravarthy was named Player of the Series after he finished as the leading wicket-taker. He bagged 14 wickets from five T20Is at an average of just 9.86 and an economy of 7.67.
"Special mention to Varun. Your hard work in the practice stations replicated in with which you go," Sridhar said.

Jurel was awarded for his exceptional fielding as a substitute player. He finished the series with six catches and a run-out, winning the fielding medal.
Although he didn't have an impressive batting record in this series, Jurel proved his worth on the field by always being ready to step up when needed, showing a positive attitude even when results weren't in his favor.
