Sharma to receive ₹3 crore from UP government
UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath personally handed over Sharma her appointment letter for the prestigious post in a special ceremony.
Along with the coveted post, she was also given a cash prize of ₹3 crore by the UP government.

Sharma has played over 100 matches in both ODI and T20I formats. She also owns over 130 wickets in each of the two formats.
Despite her new role as DSP, Sharma will continue to represent UP Warriorz in the upcoming Women's Premier League (WPL).
