What's the story

Royal Challengers Bengaluru star Virat Kohli on April 28 became the first batter to touch the 500-run mark in the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL).

He accomplished the milestone en route to an unbeaten 70 against Gujarat Titans..

Kohli completed 500 runs for the seventh time in an IPL season, the joint-most for any batter.

Let's decode his campaigns with 500-plus IPL runs.

#1

Leading run-getter of IPL 2024

Kohli touched the 500-run mark with his 70th and final run against GT in Match 45.

No other batter has completed 450 runs in the season at the moment.

Having played 10 games this year, the RCB star averages a brilliant 71.42 as his strike rate reads 147.49.

His tally of five 50-plus scores, including a hundred, is also the most for a batter.
